Need Help!!

Am wanting to buy a digi camera and after looking at resolution, memory and optical zoom capabilities, I'm at a complete loss.

Could some1 or any1 give me a few tips what to look out for so I don't end up with a duffer?

So yeah....

I kinda gave up on this thing coz I was pretty hectic wi everything.  An I'll probably forget 2 update again for ages after this... but I thought I'd post an update coz I never had a chance 2 properly say goodbye 2 everyone in edinburgh.  That and Bebo don't work at work, damn filter.

So on the 2nd of December I  moved up to Inverness.  I moved in wi my gf Lynn and we're in a gorgeous wee flat that never cools down, we seem to steal everyone elses heat (insert evil laugh here).

As you can probably guess I ain't a student anymore.  My time at HW was becoming more comedic than academic.  Would I change my time there if I had the chance?  Maybe, but I always say no regrets.... Even if I am a dropout.. lol.

I'm currently working as an IT worker and getting paid less than I did in ASDA (what's up with that!?)  but this is only temporary as I have my starting date for my new job on the 21st Jan.  I'm going to be a support worker for Sense Scotland.  It's a care organisation that was set up by parents of people that needed care, which I love because instead of feeding them, scrubbing them and putting them to bed like a life size doll, I acutally talk to them, help them out with benefit forms, have a laugh with them, the real kind of care (as well as the other stuff).  I will be working with people with sensory, learning and physical disabilities and I'm scared shitless because I've never done anything like this before, but I'd rather be doing something I'd enjoy thats hard than something boring that I can do with my eyes closed.

I miss Edinburgh sometimes. Well, no actually, I don't.  I miss the people in Edinburgh and it's hard to keep touch with no internet at home.  But with my new job, that will be remedied.

I love Inverness, its gorgeous and sunnier and warmer than Edinburgh (believe it or not).  Its the perfect mix of city and country.  It's my perfect place.  

Things are going really well with Lynn an me.  My mum came up the other day an met her parents, it went really well and my mum gets on wi Lynn more than she gets on wi me!!

I think thats everything.  For all that are in Edinburgh, when I get a chance I will be coming down to have a nite out and all will be invited.

I guess there's nothing left to do but wish everyone a merry christmas and may 2008 be full of good things for you.

I thought since i aint updated in ages, a may as since, since my life is starting to become interesting....

Well, lets see...

Am working a lot in asda, so once I get paid i should actually have money, really dont know how much, but hopefully a fair bit. although i do have overdue bills an i owe lots of ppl money... But, on that note, I may be getting help from friends who r going above and beyond the call of duty... more will be revealed when it is revealed to me....

Went out for a work doo a while back, bowlin an drinking. Was really gd nite, I was able to beat an amateur snooker champ at pool (2-1) and I had a friend telling me she really likes me, which if a bit awkward, is sweet and kinda kool. We agreed 2 just stay friends but raise the level of unnaceptable sexual innuendos between us at work..

This last weekend was pretty much the best ever.. ever
My flatmate katy had her friend Lynn down from inverness and even tho I was working Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday, they dragged me out 2 JAM on friday, Medina on Saturday and we were in the flat drinking on Sunday.. After a game of strip pontoon on Sunday, I can safely say that Me, Stu, Spey, Katy an Lynn dont have much 2 hide anymore (up 2 underwear anyway).... Even if Spey did leave in a huff coz he was wearing little boy pants instead of boxers...

I got on really well with Lynn, and she really likes me. We were talking 4 hours on messenger last nite. She left on Monday and she took one of my teddys back up 2 inverness so she dont get lonely she sez, that and it gives her more of an excuse 2 come down this weekend, which she is, and she's bringin the teddy back...

All in all, this update rocks, I seem 2 have turned a corner and am really enjoying myself again! Go me!

I just had the best shift ever...

Was busy as fuck but we had a lot of ppl on so it was comfortable.

At the end of the nite, me an John were just pissin about slidin on the floor an just generally dickin about. It was a blast...

I was supposed 2 b goin out 2 a gay bar wi gemma an ollie an others, but they bailed b4 I finished work so it felt thru, sucks a bit but its all gd...

We finished tidyin up at 9.30 so had half an hour of hiding behind the big cheese display and sticking labels on each other, ning tried 2 give me an arm waxin with the labels...

John was pissing about an i ended up chasing him, i turned the corner an slipped, i now have a huge bruise on my knee, but I cudnt stop laughing...

Wen we finished, I was walkin down the hill an some1 came up2me an asked wat the policy on shoplifting, coz they've been caught 6 times an the police was never called... I'll now b lookin out 4 her from now on!! lol

Once she left, I was walkin over the 1st road an I see a box by the corner of the road, I pick it up and its a brand new optical mouse! Ne 1 around 2 claim it so I now have a new mouse!! hee hee

All in all, it was a great nite!

I've been thinking too much...

Been thinking how much of a fool I was... I was pretty much bent over a barrel for a year and I never realised it.

And now.. I'm finding it so hard to trust people, which is probably a good thing in the world 2day.

The only thing, I liked trusting people, it went well with my delusional opinion that there mite still be some humanity in existence.

So now I don't know which way to go;

Do i join the ranks of the majority of the human race and refuse to trust anyone or anything? If some1 helps you out you ask why, if some1 comes to chat 2 u, u pat ur wallet wen they leave to see if its still there.

Or......

Do I carry on my (what feels like) 1-man tirade trying to show the world that if people just trusted each other, if they just took 5 seconds out of the day to think about some1 else, then the world wud be a lot happier?

I dunno, I think I might be a little over dramatic...

I just want to trust people again

Conclusions made tonite...

After watching the 1st of 13 discs of my thundercats boxset with savage and engel, I have made these conclusions..


1. Cider isn't all that bad, better still with blackcurrent...

2. Panthro in thundercats should have been voiced by either James Earl Jones or Barry White.

3. Tigra in thundercats should have been voiced my William Shatner.

4. Jaga is a Jedi (possibly related to Obi Wan Kenobi).

5. Cheetara is hot (a view first pointed out by savage, many times)

6. Cheetara speaks like storm in the 90's X-Men cartoons

7. Its fun to be a turntable.

8. JR has post-its in his bedroom.

9. Having said point 1, give me vodka anytime.

10. Nope, can't think of a tenth.

However, a few things...

Firstly, I am now officially a statistic that I don't like... I have a blue inhaler...

Secondly, I have discovered the wonders of Torrent. so far I have 31 Albums queued up 4 download.

Thirdly, I just got offered a free Flu jab, which I'm going to get an about a hours time. Just now remembering how painful jabs are... (where does the flu jab go??? am I going 2 have 2 bend over?)

Fourthly, Thundercats are on the run, Thundercats are loose! Goin over 2 JRs 2nite an gonna hav a wee marathon of thundercats...

I was gonna re-install xp home on2 my shitty new laptop, but it sez it cant coz the version on there is newer than my disc....
I dont care if its newer, with the amount of bollocks on that computer that i cant get off from the sheer fact that it used 2 be my brothers (where his idea of un-installing a game is finding the folder in program files an hitting delete) the bastard laptop runs like its had about 5003 too many pies!!

Any1 care 2 help????
